How to Play Prince Ludo King
Rules, strategy tips, and mode guide
Goal of the game
Each player has four pawns of one color. The winner is the first player (or team) to move all four pawns from the starting yard, around the shared track, and into their colored home triangle.
Basic turn flow
- On your turn, tap the die to roll.
- Choose a legal pawn and move it the exact number of spaces shown.
- If no move is possible, the turn passes to the next player.
- Rolling a 6 usually lets a pawn leave the yard and may grant an extra action depending on the active mode rules shown in-game.
Leaving the yard
Pawns begin in their colored yard. You typically need a 6 to enter the board. Once a pawn is on the track, it travels clockwise toward its home column.
Safe squares & captures
Marked safe squares protect stacked or resting pawns from capture. If you land on an unprotected opponent pawn, that pawn returns to its yard and must re-enter later. Stacking your own pawns can add protection in many classic variants — watch the board highlights during play.
Home stretch
After a full circuit, pawns enter their colored home path. You generally need an exact roll to finish a pawn into the center. Plan ahead so you do not overshoot.
